Also keep in mind that you will likely end up fighting with the vet’s insurance company and their army of in-house lawyers. You had indicated in one of your previous posts that the original vet was reasonable / sympathetic. It may just make sense to come to a private agreement with him in terms of the extra expenses you incurred. It would save you time and money and keep his insurance record clean.
