Another nice pc re: India/Au, Lorne, thx! It sez: Naive investors cld B educated about pitfalls of investing in gold through mass media. I suggest said disinformation campaign has already commenced over there from the balance of the statements in that pc.

You see, they are going to educate the masses regarding the link between gold and "money" i.e., their version of money (rupee). You see, Lorne, trying to dis-educate their peons about gold while their banks are busy setting up gold futures contracts and good delivery bars is classic misdirection tactics which have been used overhere
for the better part of 20 years now.

However, since Hindus have been using gold as currency for many generations now, I don't think the "misinformation campaign" is going to make much progress...I think the Hindus are much more "awake" than given credit for, especially w/in their own borders.
