The vast majority of our GDP is created by two states which are heavily liberal, NY is our financial center and Cali is our tech. Without both the US would be a third-world nation. Every state sells things made by companies in those two states. I'm not going to get in a pissing match over how dumb republican are but we all know the south is very conservative and the poorest part of the country. In fact, most states can't pay their bills without money from liberal states. The last time I checked only one conservative state was not a welfare state and that was Texas. It has oil. The rest depend on liberals to pay their bills.
