Why? The only thing I left out was taxes. You said that an increase in revenues of xx would offset the $100M, but I already accounted for that in doubling the EPS from $.42 to $.84. What you said doesn't make sense.

However, I was incorrect in saying that the $100M was in addition to their normal SG&A. Because in actuality they spent just a little less, but not much, than $100M in 1997. So my error was in thinking that the $100M was an incremental cost, when it's only a few million more than last year's expense.

I appreciate the rebuttal, though. Keeps me honest.
