There was something about Mitt Romney that rubbed me the wrong way. He wasn't conservative in any way I could define. I didn't like the socialist HC program he developed in Mass, and he wasn't very convincing, because he was passionless............a real cold fish.

Today I couldn't name one policy or program he endorsed when he was running for president.

And I can understand why people don't like Trump..................he's pretty rude, and that is off putting. I respect that.......it's OK to not like Trump.

What became clear to me today is the insidious disloyalty towards the president. I expect that from democrats and people who "hate Trump", but I don't expect it from Republican Senators. If they have doubts they shouldn't use the media as a sounding board.

There is no honor in doing that.

I thought Trump's lawyers did a fine job of defending the president and made a very convincing argument about the Constitutional (il) legality of this impeachment, but I'm an amateur.

I don't know what's going on with our fence-sitters in the Senate, but I don't like it.

This is a momentous time for our country and we need to get it right.

Can you cite one instance where a DJT response wasn't a counter-punch? I doubt it, but willing to reconsider. He isn't a lead-off batter....he's clean-up. May seem "unpresidential" to some, but we can't spare a fighter.
