A chartered plane from Wuhan landed here 1.5 hours ago with 200+ US evacuees. Passengers have deplaned for further health checks and US customs processing. Their final destination in California has been changed to a military base rather than a civilian airport. Not sure why, but I'm guessing the officials wanted better security to allay public concern. It seems like the global authorities are ratcheting up toward Pandemic DEFCON 5. Australia/NZ have announced they will quarantine their evacuees on Christmas Island.
