Strong global preventive measures now could indeed result in this being no-big-deal.

My concern is whether some of the less-organized parts of the world can do their part stave off the pandemic. I'd hate to see it spread to the poor and war-torn areas of Africa, the Mideast, and etc. Such places already have enough problems of their own.
