I pray this WuFlu doesn't hit us hard in weeks/months to come. Outside of the toll it might take on people in general, another casualty, I really hate to say, will be these campaign rallies.

Spanish Flu still 5 to 10 times more deadly.

“Mortality of the Spanish Flu Pandemic. The global mortality rate from the 1918/1919 pandemic is not known, but it is estimated that 10% to 20% of those who were infected died. With about a third of the world population infected, this case-fatality ratio means that 3% to 6% of the entire global population died.”

Re: Wuhan virus

Since people die after some 10 days of getting sick, shouldn't you use the number of cases from 10 days ago when calculating mortality rate?
