Yes, so when a group of Conniving Individuals, you know, like the Al Gores and Michael Moores of this world, want to get as large a section of the public as possible to go along with their "Doomsday Theories", they refer to their "Experts" in order to convince the generally ill-formed general public, who are generally not at all well versed in matters of Science and Climatology. Not that surprising when one considers the general lack of the Scientific Curriculum taught in schools these days. Unfortunately, throughout history, the "masses" have often been fairly easy to convince by their "So Called Peers", because the "masses" have tended to trust their "So called Peers" because they never doubted the "Good Intentions" of their "So called Peers". A Very Good example of this, IMO, was back in the 1500's and 1600's when Copernicus and Galileo fell foul of the "Experts" within the predominant church at that time. These two SCIENTISTS, and authentic Experts, had proven, via Verifiable SCIENCE, that the planets, including the Earth, revolved around the sun. This meant that the predominant Church's view, that the earth was at the centre of the planetary system, was INCORRECT. But the predominant church wasn't interested in VERIFIABLE SCIENCE. It had millions of members who hung onto every one of its words and pronouncements about EVERYTHING AND THEY BELIEVED EVERYTHING THAT EMANATED FROM THEIR "PEERS". Galileo must be declared a HERETIC for daring to voice an opposing view to that PREDOMINANT, "ALTRUISTIC(?)" CHURCH who only had the best interests of their millions of members at heart. I mean, the LAST THING THAT THE PREDOMINANT CHURCH WANTED WAS TO BE SHOWN TO BE INCORRECT REGARDING ONE OF THE CORNERSTONES OF ITS TEACHINGS. I mean, IF IT COULD BE PROVEN WRONG IN ONE THING, THEN WHO THE HELL KNOWS WHERE IT COULD ALL END ............. ???!!!! It seems that little has changed over time ............
