I will be looking at markets in ASEA to take out 16800 a level I think is very important- for Nikkei may take few days but I have reasons to believe that considering short open positions a close above 16800 will be a great indicator- may be will put kind of short squeeze- 1-On banking I am still thinking along the lines of market specific fear on Indonesia will not expect this to last too long- Suharto for me is history the 300 plus cronies need to go- the economic crisis engulfing Indonesia will affect Malayasia but Singapore Korea and HSI will escape from the impact. 2-BKX I think very volatile but a great index- has been 780 last month but going thru mid fear correction I will like to see it consolidate right here and will consider a close aboce 690 on Monday a good trading signal. 3- I am liking a stock in HSI - Henderson Land please investigate and look at its fundamnetals. 4- My trade above 280 on SOX will be to go long March 300-310 and sell 240 for March. 5-On bonds my levels have been reached 121 is not a place to short. 6- I am closely watching another sector and will popst it soon with my feelings. 7- On SPA please look at 955 very closely now- I would like this support to be maintained for my banking and SOX trade- please resist to get into any trade if my levels on SPA are not being respected also loook at Nikkei for a trade on index a close below 16200 will give my interelational predictions a serious jolt-937 remains my level below which I will look at test of lows at 900 even lower. 8- Earnings momentum is good but political uncertainities and Suharto flushing out may take some steam out we need to keep a close eye, last time I talked about SOX will be free from these pressures of SPA now I think banks will BKX may be ready for deviation from selling pressure I am looking at pockets of strength however all this is relative to how market interprets various new factors one being Clinton ability to govern- I have slightly changed my stance and think that given latest Levenski stance she will spill the beans but Veron Jordan and Ppresident will escape from threats of perjury charges. 9- Nothing in the numbers production capacity utilisation Phily index is suggestive of any major slowdown I will be looking anxiously at NAPM and will amke comments on that but so far all is quiet on economic front. IKe, As you may or may not know, Bill and Hillary were of the "select few" programers of computer magnate "Deep Blue" that beat Kasparov in chess championship. Machine over man. They have innate ability to look 32 moves ahead in planning strategy. It worked for Whitewater, Flowergate, Travelgate, Chinagate, and Paulagate until recently. This "bombshell" is different b/c it caught them by surprise and off guard when they least expected it. Kind of like thief in night. Now their are fragments everywhere from explosion and they don't know where to start to pick up the pieces. The timing could not have been worse. On the eve of Paula Jones deposition, Starr is working behind scenes to get immediate approval (Friday, day before 6 hour deposition)from Reno to expand powers of independent counsel to include Lewinsky and subpoena records of comings and goings in west wing records as well as security officers and Jordan et al. It is, as you say "the obstruction of justice" and the "pattern of obstruction" that Starr is going after. If Bill can get out of this pickle, he will have donned himself master of "teflon man" unlike any other since Gotti. And it was Gotti who finally got nailed on something of less substance of all the things he had been accused of.... very similar to this case. Prepare for what you never thought was possible...
