Friday's downside hiccup . . . Ericsson connection . . . I understand that next week's earnings are predicted by SSR to be on the order of eight cents rather than a nickel or so more, although there has been no change in the 1998 estimates and the SSR buy recommendation has been restated. No real change in the underlying story of what's happening with TRMB. Also, noticed on an II thread a statement by an Ericsson employee that TRMB and Ericsson are working on putting GPS in Ericsson cellular phones for 911 locator and other purposes.
