Good Morning Cyrus,
Its possible that the Captain sees PAIR hitting a downtrend resistance line drawn from the market close on 11/4/97 to the close on 1/5/98. A parallel line can be drawn that indicated similar price resistance on dates 11/20/97, 12/1/97, 12/5/97 and 1/14/98 through 1/20/98. (This tends to add credibility to the 1st resistance line IMHO.)

The short term uptrend which began 1/12/98 may be hitting resistance at this point. If the Captain's view is correct, we may see a decline in price stop at $18.250 since this price appeared to be building a base from 1/14/98 through 1/21/98.

Based on news this past week and earnings coming out next week, TA may not be the way to go right now.

Depending on your tolerance to risk, the slightly more aggressive trader will probably wait until earnings come out next Thursday (after the close) while others may opt to lock in some profits. (Can't go broke by taking a profit!) Some of us now have a cost basis below Friday's close and may wish to temper our risk a bit.

Just another opinion. Give it a week and we will see who is correct.

B.M.
