<<Any opinions out there whether or not its a good time to pick up CYMI.>>

Your guess is as good as anyone's. I'm long a little to hold over earnings, thinking that Cymer's earnings should be pretty much in the range projected, that the institutional holders have bailed out already, and that it's reaching its fundamental low. I originally got the shares for technical reason but I just don't see a much bigger drop. The fixed cost of the ramp up is expensed already, people are buying steppers, and a lot of bad news is priced in.

If they come in at .18 or something, you'll certainly see a short-term drop, but they ought to start churning out .30/quarter pretty dependably in the near future, which would give you an $18/share price at 15 PE.

Personally, I'm gambling they'll come in over .25 THIS quarter. I haven't listened to those ranting stories about 1000 units a year for a long time, but they have an excellent business with good demand, even in this chip recession.
