Successful investing takes patients and discipline. These day to day fluctuations shouldn't be taken too seriously. MSFT had numerious 20-25% corrections in the last 13 yrs. It's just market fluctionations. If LGND pursues it's pipline & has the support of large drug firms needing new products..they will be successful. It's amazing how stocks can fluctuate without any real reason behind it.

I used to be a "ticker tape runner" on the Pacific coast exchange in 1969..Then the stock was Solitron Devices..fluctuated like crazy

Peter, since the bid dropped after these two trades, they were more likely sells.

The seller "probably didn't want to go into a weekend with a major political scandal" while holding LGND :-)
