On Impeachment Still watching the R's struggle... with developing a viable approach to politics that actually works. Presented with the most obvious and transparent fraud in political history... the best they're able to come up with is a plan to "dodge the bullet"... by avoiding presenting a proper defense... based on proving the truth about the origins of the effort and debunking that effort while running the crimes behind it to ground. Why are the R's... working hard to PREVENT a public presentation of the KNOWN and PROVEN extent of the Democrats corruption ? Granted, it is amusing to see D's effort in impeachment having them presenting us with the arguments that might well drive the future prosecutions... of themselves... as they tell us that what they did... when Trump is wrongly accused of it... is clearly criminal and even treasonous. Are they that short sighted... or do they know it won't ever matter ? The best the R's can come up with is... "it's time to draw it to a close" ? I demand something more like actual JUSTICE... I expect proofs you are doing your jobs... not sustained proofs of perpetual weakness... while the R's continue to do nothing but ENABLE the D's sustained misbehavior by refusing to confront it... beyond struggling with it and still barely managing to avoid its success. Perhaps... all Pelosi hoped to accomplish... was to impose control over the timing... and she failed in that... but, then, you'd have to think that must mean they know R's have another plan for holding them to account on a different time line... in a different venue ? R Senators have mentioned... addressing those issues in Senate hearings after this is put to bed... but those hearings are famous for being a threat never realized... either never happening... or if they do, functioning as a grand stand where politicians preen and divisive issues go to die without any action ever resulting. It gets harder and harder over time as this (not just the latest wrinkle as seen in the faux impeachment) drags on... to believe that any R is actually capable of or interested in dealing in truth... requiring that truth informs every choice while fully and properly meeting the Constitutional obligations... much less dealing out the truth in the interest of seeking justice. As long as that doesn't happen... there IS NO CHANGE in direction... only delaying actions in the drift... which is exactly and all that Republican's have been fostering since 1913... Trump survives to be abused another day... and the Democrats survive unscathed to sustain their abuses... and, meanwhile, the Second Amendment dies... as gun confiscation begins... "More of the Same"... in a Deep State operated distraction... all fire and fury that signifies nothing... but fosters and sustains the growth in the political divisions ? Still looking for real change... and not seeing it...
