It's really of no importance to me if you are a Clinton supported. i just can't believe that people think this is no big deal. As for the Cocaine for weapons-Regain/Contra deal. Hold on John, cuz if you're not aware, the trading of the drugs and weapons happened in Arkansas, specifically at Mena, Ak. And guess who was running AK and also sniffing coke then. That's right. When you least expect it, Clinton shows up.

Re: Politcal Candidates. One of the problems is that the politcal process is akin to prostitution. You have to sell yourself and when you do, you start to carry unwanted baggage that you'd rather not have hanging onto you. Here in LA, we have this guy hernandez who was doing drugs in office and is still on the city council. I agree that there needs to be reform when it comes to campaign financing. The only way how is to let anyone give as much as they want as long it is public knowledge. Limiting it by passing law after law will just politicians more ways to find a way around it.

Fugazi

PS: I think we will soon find out that character matters for something. It isn't always the most important thing when it comes to a politician, but it does matter.
I wouldn't worry about having a far right protectionis Pat Buchannan type become president. That would only happen if he was running against Ralph Nader. I'd move out of the US if that ever happened.

I think it would be great to see someone like TEVE TORBES become president.
the white house would them become the Tool house. And he'd give one stock recommendation every saturday during his speech. That would be nice.

I guess I'm just not interested in following other peoples sex lives..would rather have my own.

When I was single, I would have rather have had Clinton's!

Re: I'm Almost Embarrassed to Post This...

Mayble Jones cand find one of Clinton's pubic hairs!!!

Too late. It has been reported that Lewinsky has something much more incriminating staining one of her dresses.

p.s. long failed drug policies... We sure have some common ground here!

>>I'm putting down the wine and opening up the Jack Daniel's<<

Great post and great sentiment, John.

As was the one in response to yours from P squared. Seems like we are all fed up with hypocrisy in politics. But it generally comes with the territory. As they say absolute power corrupts absolutely. It doesn't have to, but it usually does.

The Contragate point is an interesting one. One wonders if it is worse to have out of control sexuality in the White House or be responsible for the death of thousands of Nicaraguans and not remember it.

Ain't politics wonderful?
