Marvin:

Just poking my nose into the IRF thread to see what's going on.

I totaly agree this is a great time to be buying IRF. I know you and I have been thru the swings and it's only a matter of time and it'll be in the 20's again. Maybe the 30's ( is Doc still out there????) We still might owe him a dinner!

Have been into the DEC/AMD and sub-prime game and got out of IRF @ 16.

I want back in, but $$$$ and tapped out on the margin, etc..

Stay tuned

See ya

Al

A few big U.S.chip makers have gone to the state dept to try to get the IMF to hold back funds if it appears that the objective of foreign companies which have gotten IMF funds is to dump cheap (chip) products. Korea was mentioned as a major dumper.

Buying cheap/some times defective cheap chip will have a great effect on the quality of US products produced today. There will be a lot of crap sold to the U. S. for a long time, as long as ASIA is in trouble.
