As for figuring BCMD fundamentals, I just want to mention that a
lot of gold mining companies that have share prices way above a dollar have not made a real profit in ages. Even a great company like Barrick has a P/E of what, 40 to 1 or so?
All that yellow in the ground gives a mining company a lot of "collateral", so to speak, and if only it were possible to prove out a substantial amount of those "inferred resources" BCMD would be much higher right now even with its current fundamentals. I am not saying that this is impossible to do but with a lode mine (now they do have some placer) it is difficult and I understand it is not a priority for the company right now.
Perhaps we as shareholders should encourage the company to do more with respect to the proven reserves. It would appear to me that it would have a quick effect on the share prices quite the opposite of what the inferred reserves did. Inferred reserves are not something I believe the market holds any respect for, outside of exploration.
Proven is different.
