I recently bought a SyJet 1.5GB drive and had a hell of a time with the cartridge getting stuck in the drive unit. I returned my first one to the place I bought it initially thinking it was defected. Upon receiving a second unit, I had the same problem. Then, the drive failed to operate.

Now, I got a third unit. And it appears that Syquest redesigned the drive. The power supply is changed and it appears the drive's loading/unloading mechanism has changed also.

Anyone heard of these new units coming out?
