Yes the market is a brutal place right now. But CTXS has been way overvalued for quite some time now and is just now showing its first sign of weakness. I have looked at that one myself as a short. Might be time to do it now that the trend is negative.

But I think every stock is different. Look at MSFT. They only came in 3 cents ahead and they haven't gotten toasted. And IOM was trading at a significant premium to the other DD makers and still is. And look at MU and SGI. Their earnings situations stink. Yet the stocks are going up.

What I'm saying is you can't be sure of anything in this market. How do you know that the market wasn't expecting an even worse report? How do you know that a major brokerage house or two won't issue and upgrade next week. How do you know that an institution or two won't start buying heavily this week with a one or two year outlook? How do you know that CREAF won't get buyback approval and start buying their own shares back? How do you know that MSFT or CPQ or someone else won't put an offer out for CREAF at 35 dollars?

Answer is no one knows. But these are things to consider when you short this stock. Since I'm long the stock, I have the luxury of waiting as long as it takes to reach my target. I can even buy more if it gets cheaper. I still believe you will need alot more luck to reach your goal than I will to reach mine.
