First call estimate was .78 and Zack .77.rob no matter how Creaf does it seems that it is hated both in U.S and Singapore eventhough
they have done great for the past six Qs,every body trys their hardest to put them down.Q4 was WSJ which reported the earnings wrong
this time Rueters and all those IDIOTS in Singapore.
But one should be clever to play the game,Creaf goes up and down a lot make money going long and short ,RIGHT now both fast and slow Stochastic in overbought area but Macd ,Moving averages in great shape with RSI moving up so it will go down for a few days then
after a short while back up.

Good Lucj

I'm always just jumping in and out of CREAF...I like CREAF because of its very low PE ratio. I'm worried about holding a long position for very long because:

1. Future of DVD is still questionable. If there is a big future for DVD, then CREAF is positioned well for it...but it will likely degrade quickly to become a low-margin market, just like CD-ROM drives. If DVD is a flop, CREAF will be in trouble.
(If Microsoft begins shipping their products in DVD format, look out above! They will make or break the DVD market).

2. CREAF was being pushed into the high-end of the soundcard market. High-end is shrinking. Most systems come with low-end sound cards, where margins are extremely small. CREAF has positioned itself for the low-end market now, but whether volume can make up for the loss in the high-end is still questionable (e.g. disk drive industry is in shambles now...very high volumes but no profit).

3. Sales show very little growth from same quarter last year (2.3% increase, which I consider to be flat). If DVD fails to take off soon, Asia problems or no Asia problems, CREAF will remain stagnant, and stock could fall considerably and stay there.

I might buy back if CREAF gets into an oversold condition again, but will likely sell quickly. If Microsoft begins shipping software on DVD, I'll buy and hold for big profits.
Sam

Hey, Rob, keep this quiet! You're exactly right about the market expecting this Singapore based company to miss estimates by far. Why else would they have dipped to a P/E of under 7, and still be at, what, 8 or 9? I don't want to hype the stock. I want to pick some up gradually, hoping the confusion will keep the price steady for awhile. Big institutional investors usually wait a day or two (or more) because they need large volumes. At this bargain price, I expect them not to wait too long. Right now I have no position, having sold my calls Friday (too nervous). I plan to pick some up right away, then if it dips, I'll add. So please don't tell these shorters this kind of sane reasoning, yet!
