Good points/ bad points made tonight.

We all follow Ligand a little too much, and then get too involved with the little ups and downs. This is a major buy and hold, but I guess we just want to be part of the show.

I wouldn't be too hard on the French for losing Paris in 1940. Like a lopsided Super Bowl, it was over before it started. And besides, they got it back! That said: they should shut the hell up about Mitterand's mistress.

Big concern about the Clinton thing is that it could tank the markets. I worry about that too, but I'm SURE the course material mentioned that history ain't gonna stop while we get paid on investments.

Should Clinton go? Seems like I've almost forgotton that I opposed him because I didn't like his world view, rhetoric or politics The scandal stuff is going to destroy what's left of his party, so I think the powers on that side of the aisle will do what they have to do. At least with Gore, I could go back to just disliking his world view, rhetoric and politics.

Denver will surprise everyone tomorrow. They may even win.

Ligand will surprise some people over the next year, but not us.
