Even if it has gone off without a hitch the Iowa dem caucus system was nuts. First count all the attendees. Then, all you Bernie bros go stand in that corner of the gym. Biden supporter go over there. etc. Then they count heads of each group and they record the initial count. Any candidate that didn't have at least x% of the attendees fails. Everyone standing with that group go to your second choice. They record where those folks go. Any group that is still below the minimum of X% they repeat the above step. Then they record the total in each remaining group. So there is a bunch of sub vote totals to consider. Which complicates the process. For some reason progressives love this complex first, second, third choice voting B.S.
