But Bloomberg was saying SS cannot work if the average workers on average pay are trying to pay for increasing numbers on SS. He was not saying anything about SS being bad because it transfers wealth from the rich to the poor. SS transfers wealth from the lower end of the pay scale (starting at $1 and capped at a bit over $100K) to retires. As we get more retires and fewer workers, what will happen?
