Monica was kind of dragged into it. The real whistleblower was Linda Tripp. And she paid for it later as Clinton had her fired. Linda Rose Tripp (née Carotenuto; born November 24, 1949)[ citation needed] is a former U.S. civil servant who played a prominent role in the Clinton–Lewinsky scandal of 1998. Tripp's action in secretly recording Monica Lewinsky's confidential phone calls about her relationship with the president caused a sensation with their links to the earlier Clinton v. Jones lawsuit and with the disclosing of notably intimate details. Tripp claimed that her motives were purely patriotic, and she was able to avoid a wiretap charge in exchange for handing in the tapes. She then claimed that her firing from the Pentagon at the end of the Clinton administration was vindictive, while the administration claimed it to be a standard routine. Trump sits in his office thinking and talking about himself. He doesn't do shit for anyone, much less an America that he thinks doesn't appreciate his greatness. Meanwhile, we just increased the national debt by a trillion dollars in only 7 months. If he has enough time, he'll bankrupt the country like he has the business he inherited from his father. What a loser! The only bigger fools are those who believe his lies.
