I love to see some smart directors on the board.

This family outfit has been a serial abuser of options candy.

They weave a futuristic story of dynamic products with large margins and low volume.
In between they issue stick while diluting the stockholders position.

They never retain the shares - they're sold into the market immediately.

There needs to be some adults on the board that stop raiding the candy jar!!

Been my opinion for years.

These guys do good work and have skill.

Their business acumen,is distorted by the "All in the family view" that sadly excludes the stockholders.

I welcome their presence - let's start running it like a business folks!

Bob

Hi J: I keep coming back to KVH's opportunity in the autonomous vehicle space. During Martin's presentation at the recent Needham Growth Conference he said KVH's products are shipping and are on 25-35 different platforms for major car companies around the world, startup companies and taxi-type services.
Martin said there are about 1,000 cars on the road that are truly self-driving and that KVH's technology is on about 80 percent of them. That last sentence bears re-reading. For KVH not to cash in big would seem to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Martin said that over the past year KVH's photonic chip (which he calls "a real breakthrough technology") has met price and performance targets and that it is being integrated into standard products as well as being developed into new automotive solutions. He said most major car companies are looking at a blend of technology that involves LIDAR, cameras, radar, inertial technology and GPS all fused together.
Martin said by implementing KVH's photonic chip technology into standard products KVH will get an immediate cost benefit as the autonomous vehicle market emerges.
