A roaring economy should increase inflation tendencies. The FED will screw up as usual and do the wrong shit. Ask chief not me. :---) I know less than the FED.

I did pretty well buying US Savings Bonds back in the '80s & '90s.
At the time they paid less interest than the market rate, but over
the last 10yrs they've paid above market rates by 3% or so.
Now they're starting to reach final maturity and I'm putting
the $$ into s/t T-bills instead of Money Market.

Waiting to deploy when the market gives another 'opportunity
of a generation'.
