Hmmmm…...Lots to consider. Of course, real estate here on the left coast/Silicon Valley are so far off the scale of reality, one can't use those increases as any kind of indicator. And people love to live here so much, if they lose their homes, instead of leaving they just live in the streets - (sarc).
