Hi GZ,

edit: the link didn't work, i;m sorry in stockcharts, com its sumbol is !10PCREQU (see 4 & 5 below)

i don't normally post (don't even have the 5 posts yet) mostly just a lurking sub

re: that green line in your Weekly NYSE Put/Call ratio

1. obviously it's very helpful

2. thanks to a different put/call indicator (which i got from one of your posts last year, so thanks to you)
i may have found another way to basically track what that green line shows, on a daily basis & more

3. address is below, i tried to make it a link
(but not sure if i did it right? also it said that w/o 5 posts i don't yet have ability to include links)

so i hope it works, otherwise this entire post is useless

stockcharts.com!10PCREQU&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p27221130479&a=719403226&listNum=2

4. when you were experimenting w/ this other different put/call indicator many months ago, i remember you concluded (correctly) that it was unreliable as a substitute for your regular weekly NYSE Put/Call Ratio, and that the 50 & 200 day SMA crossovers (specifically) were unreliable indicators

5. so i cleaned it up a bit, removed the 50 & 200 SMA's completely, added a 3 day EMA just to help me see the pattern of daily markers (not sure what else to call them, they don't look like real candlesticks) & now it works just as an indirect way to basically see what that green line is doing on a daily chart

(i don't have access to the weekly P/C ratio you post on fridays, except when you post it, nor am i trying to do anything but find a way to attempt to track daily what that green line is doing )

hope this make sense?
thanks for all you do to help,
it's much appreciated,
