There will be many going for a quick pop. I have seen a few posts on this thread stating they will sell on gains. The hope is that the low price attracts new buyers at the rate that the quick poppers get out. IOM held above 8 1/2 pretty well Friday and the late rally suggests that people wanted to own it going into Monday. I watched Micron Electronics behave similarly when they were short their number last qtr. They held above 9 for a few days, had a few pops toward 10, then dropped into the mid 8's, then the new CFO news propelled them close to 12 only to settle back around 11. Of course the volume was much lower for MUEI! I'll be looking for their commercial later today...

>>Something I have a hard time comprehending is the channel checks. Everyone reported that disk were flying of the shelves. Nothing like reported in the past. I can't see how US ZIP sales increased only 25%<<

Hey, I used to live in Kansas. I lived in Wichita, then Salina, then Topeka. All before I was seven.

The channel checks were indeed correct that Zips were flying off the shelves. It was revenues which only grew by 23% over Q4 '96, while unit volumes were up 2.5 times.
