As I have said before, China has the will and resources to combat this challenge. Given modern medical technology, I expect in a year or two we may even see a vaccine, so the endurance won't be extended. For places like India, and Bangladesh, that lack the will and the resources of a China, things may not go as well. They make an unexpected contribution to slowing the human population growth.
