Time to do a little exploring? I've explored and found a few personal gems. Some I never expected to find. Time to check the attic and closets there. :+ )

I've seen Pappy Boyington's actual Corsair F4U. He autographed it
on the wheel well door.

If you ever vacation in D.C. and are interested in aircraft, I highly recommend
a tour of the Garber Restoration Facility in Silver Hill, MD.(near Andrews AFB)

Advanced reservations are best.

I also got to touch the Enola Gay. They were testing out which aluminum
polish best withstood people touching an exhibit.

This is the back stock storage for the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum.

There's an ME-262 there, too. It's wood, if memory serves me.
