Yeah, I saw this video. If you noticed, I was guesstimating many days ago that the much higher mortality rate in Hubei can only be explained if Hubei had a far higher number of cases than has been recognized, going into hundreds of thousands, if not more.

So, 50K new infections a day - for a nation of 1.5 billion, or even for a province of 60 million - may prove to be a conservative estimate.

We can only hope that their reported number of deaths proves to be close to the truth — while the number of infections proves to be grossly underestimated. This would mean that the disease may be not nearly as bad as Hubei numbers suggest. Which was my thesis all along.
