Crony makes a good point. The more the president claims credit for the bull market, the more he’d be vulnerable to a downturn. I think the bull market isn’t about to be over yet - but the market doesn’t ask what I think. There is an old piece of advise - don’t confuse a bull market with genius. Same, to a degree, can be said differently - don’t confuse a bull market with good policies. Even under the best of policies there would be scary and disturbing bearish periods. Otherwise, everyone could leverage every dime they have and sit and wait to become billionaires :)
