All of the countries reporting increases in confirmed cases are in Asia; Japan went from 89 to 96 (all related to the cruise ship quarantined in Yokohama); Hong Kong went from 26 to 36; Singapore from 40 to 43; Taiwan from 17 to 18; Malaysia from 16 to 17; S. Korea from 25 to 27; and Vietnam from 13 to 14. We have doubts about the accuracy of information concerning Coronavirus(N) from many poorer countries, including in this region, Philippines, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Cambodia, Myanmar etc. 5. Globally fatalities rose to 910 from 813 – all of the increase being in China (mainly Wuhan). Fatalities have risen from 908 to 722 in China Mainland. The fatality rate globally rose slightly overnight to 2.24% from 2.16%. 6.
