You have a great grasp of history, to be sure. I don't think we've seen any point in history where the Republic can vote for their benefits in such an overt manner. For this reason alone, the Dems will survive; like roaches.

I left out of that... forging a connection between the history brought to life in "American Aurora"... and the secret events of the Hartford Convention... Study it yourself, with a search on Abe Books for "History of the Hartford Convention: With a Review of the Policy of the United States Government That Led to the War of 1812". Worth understanding it in context too... while asking why the exposure of such a dangerous conspiracy was never made a thread in the common fabric of the early history of the Republic ? The awareness of the event... was spoken of in hushed tones at the time... the news was suppressed... and it was quickly swept under the rug... perhaps along with other political consequences of the War of 1812 that are still roundly ignored, today. It didn't show us at our best, at a time when we were still seeking to aggrandize ourselves in victory, and make Revolutionary heroes of many of the same Federalists we still revere today... whose positions might be regarded in different light in the shadow of Hartford. The modern parallel for that event... would be some secret Democrat Party pow wow that occurred in the void we see as a black box sleight of hand occurring in the dark recesses (of the Obama White House), sandwiched in between the FBI proceeding in investigating Clinton's Classified E-Mail Crimes going into the black box... and coming out of the black box... Clinton criminally exonerated... while the FBI itself was committing crimes, interfering in our elections, while seeking to disrupt the Trump campaign by any means possible... An event (or series of events) occurred... in which justice was obstructed to prevent Clinton being prosecuted... and in which the coordination of the transfer of responsibility for the #resistance occurred, as the Obama Administration was forced from office, and sought to sabotage the succeeding administration... There were foreign entanglements, too, inherent in the whispered treasons of Hartford... and the relationship between the choices made and the fact of and the prosecution of our wars... should not be ignored. The Federalists conspired with our enemies... in a time of war... to oppose the person and the polices of the elected government... as the #resistance of 1812... When the public became aware of the FACT of the foreign collusion and subversion... undermining those we elected in a time of war... to favor the enemy at our expense... the Federalists quickly ceased to be relevant... Tick, tock...
