They just can't wave a magic wand and *POOF*, it goes away.
The shareholders, I doubt, would be happy with that scenerio.
I am betting that the SEC would make them do what must be done. BUY IN SHARES AND DELIVER.

You have NOT made good on my request to demonstrate
with legal backup, that the SEC would NOT allow trading in a stock with a short position..legal, or illegal.
You have only provided us with the rule that states the SEC will make sure the illegal shorters cease and desist from their activities, which in itself, is appreciated. Thank you very much..al

DD, if the SEC wants to halt a stock because of illegal naked short selling, don't you think there are hundreds of companies whose trading would be halted?
