Not personally, but short interest increased from 800k to 1000k from Nov 97 to Dec 97. FIBR traded between 2 7/16 and 3 3/8 during that time, so somebody did.

If I buy the stock at 5.00 and it goes to 0.00 I lose 5.00 per share... If you Short the stock at 5.00 and it goes to 10.00, 15.00, 20.00 or higher you do not have a ceiling to your loss if you don't cover along the way... The odds favor the longs...
