I remember watching reruns of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with my dog. Marlin Perkins would give some nice introduction and then send Jim Fowler on some death defying expedition to a malaria infested swamp. After the show we’d go out and hunt gophers and rabbits pretending we were on safari somewhere.

OT: My sister in law had 2 Shelties, Smokey & Bandit, who would chase a
chuckwagon/horses across the bottom of the TV screen.

I think it was a dog food commercial.

She was sorry she encouraged them to learn to do it.
