zip versus sparq?!
I really had fun on my trip to Germany for the Christmas Holidays.
I bought a Sparq drive and 3 extra cartridges in early Dec, thinking
it would make a great present for my elderly father or maybe my brother-in-law.
It took all of 3 minutes to install it on my machine at home, in both win95 and NT4.0
Since it had an universal power supply, I only had to get a different plug, once i arrived in Germany.
The problem I ran into was that everyone, I showed it to (and demonstrated it via 'visit95.exe') wanted it bad.
And they all had ZIP drives and stacks of cartridges, willing to part with immediately.
Well, my father did end up with the drive (he gave his zip and 6 cartridges away!) and needless to say, he is a happy camper!
I knew, i should have taken 5 drives with me...:)
