Re << Peace for Our Time >> piece, it may be too optimistic.

Even if it is spot on, or just plainly wrong, I reckon Nothing.Is.Priced-In ...

... because just as in the case of universal hard-fork per Sino-USA technology, galactic bifurcation of globalism, and the planetary shattering of what was, folks cannot price the risk of sea level rising 100 feet vs 30 meters.

The key charts say all either ok or better than ok

My suspicion is that all the charts are correct about the past and totally wrong regarding the future.

Question, how wrong :0)

Answer, we shall find out :0/

The virus is interesting timing for the Armstrong (he was not expecting pandemic to onset until 2022, but close-enough) script

We wait to see how the dress-rehearsal plays out, for 2020 is still quite young even if appears to be dying judging by the publicity

in the meantime the folks in S Africa wish the Coconut to arrive asap so she and her cohort can get to work

they are being helpful w/ local logistics

the mrs booking flights and finalising lodging

the jack is non-committal, excited on the one hand for new vista, and reserved in judgement as far as home-school at a real distance entails

the school teachers and tutors here in HK are supportive of both kids, shifting their schedules for both to be afternoon HK times to allow for time-zone calibration

we are watching the developing situation between here and there, and everywhere else, to guess at the risks of initiative

adventure ... out of plan ... but an opportunity for the kids ... make at least a good essay, "what I did during ..."

the HK schools are opening for the 12th graders to prepare for and take standardised tests (those on IB (UK/Europe) program), but on optional basis, still allowing home-school. For the physical attendees, the parents must sign for full responsibility in case of infection.

The Coconut and Jack in any case are not 12th graders, are not on the IB program, so no decision there

Staying put involves hanging out at home, study play eat sleep entertain, but at home

Going out involves meeting new people, exploring new horizon, experiencing new ways

I am hoping we do not have a hiccup between now, through take off, and landing at destination
