ONE 18 foot of re bar cost 5.57 how do you make a 30 ft ladder with 18 ft You'd need at least four sticks and no matter how much welding you do - that thing would be pretty flimsy. rebar bends rather easily, unless you get the really thick stuff - but that would be more than 5.57 a stick and really heavy. just steal an aluminum ladder and it can hold a 250lb fat guy.
