Painne Webber (1/23/98): 1. Viracept receives European marketing approval for use in adults and children. Although we have been anticipating approval in Europe soon, the official approval by European regulatory authorities is yet another milestone for Agouron. In addition, Viracept is once again the first HIV protease inhibitor to receive simultaneous approval for use in adults and children in Europe.
