>>Secretary of Commerce William Daley termed the Year 2000 software conversion one of the most serious issues facing the nation<<

I think this sudden focus on Y2K problems (especially in the coming State of the Union speech) is just an attempt to divert attention from the Slick Boink Monica story.

Shame on them for waiting so long or being so far behind. The "spark" has ignited Y2K companies that had their ass in gear and kept from excessive dilution. A message for the SHM.

Step right up ladies and gentlemen!!!!

Step right up and place your bets!!!! <wink>

Leon Panetta has stated that if the allegations are true, Clinton should resign. The only recourse is to distract the American public with a topic even more serious than his indiscretion, and bombing Iraq is not a viable option now since it will spun by the global press as an obvious attempt to distract attention from from his problems.

What else is out there on the table other than Asia than could could save his political bacon and give him an issue to take the lead on???

Just my humble opinion.

Regards,

Ron
