well, if you were the only one voting, I am sure Mayor Pete would get elected -g-
Stats says 70% of Americans are “Christian”. That of course does not mean they necessarily
all not vote for Mayor Pete, as for most the Religious association is loose, but I think it could be
enough to be a significant obstacle for a gay person. That community is even more of a minority
than every other community. In other words, it is an obstacle to presidency not to be taken lightly.
Being gay is worse than being a woman (for the purpose of being an elect-able Presidential candidate),
and no woman got elected in the US, yet. JMHO.

I am absolutely ready to take this thought back if Mayor Pete proves me wrong and wins the nomination.
