Let me just add that although I believe the motive force behind this "investigation of the president" is an ultra-right-wing group, I do think that ultimately the president is not above the law. If he suborned perjury, he has committed a serious offense and should have to suffer the consequences (not that the law deals to all with an even hand). Right now no one knows what the truth really is and until the facts are available in their entirety, no one can really say what that truth is.
