He'll lose the independents, the election, and the House.
We're counting on that! :-)

Wharfie,
He'll lose the independents, the election, and the House.
That's exactly how the so-called "establishment" thinks.

All these "experts" see are numbers. "Fantasy football politics," as Van Jones puts it (although Van was talking more about Mueller and impeachment than about Bernie): Message 32544106

They divide up the electorate into groups, and then sort them out based on how likely they would vote for a certain candidate.

They don't count on energy. They don't count on intangibles because, you know, intangibles are not quantifiable.

They don't even think about what the word "independent" means. They just assume that "independent" means "moderate," when the truth is that there are a LOT of independent voters out there who are very left-wing or very right-wing in their beliefs.

These "experts" made the same mistakes when they predicted that Hillary would beat Trump in a landslide.

I once believed those "experts" because, heck, it was their job to know more about this stuff than me. Now I know better, and now I know that their job is to advance a pre-determined narrative for views and clicks.
