YES --->: The .028% is incorrect and should be 2.8%

First - I personally believe the death rate is higher. That said, I use the John Hopkins tracker because its a widely accepted reliable source. I see lots of stuff on the interwebs that is not sourced and/or looks fake (but could be accurate).

The .028% figure is the derived from dividing the total # of deaths buy total # of confirmed cases

2128 / 75725 = .0281 ---- or ----> 2.8%


That figure is over 50 times the death rate of the common flu using the lower numbers from the CDC website

14,000,000 / 26/000,000 = .00053 (or .0053%)
