You're right, it might be a stretch, unless the compound is lipid soluble. From conversations with Dr. Salari from previous years I believe that Apanol is not the most lipid soluble of their compounds; so far Tiesole is, but they're intending to first use it for topical applications.

But regarding crossing of the blood brain barrier, here's another scenario. Apanol or another one of the products in development might greatly diminish the inflammatory response of antigen activated T cells that may cross the blood brain barrier to cause the disease and lessen it with passage of time.
