To the lay person, it would appear that this virus is highly contagious and easily spread. I suspect any highly dense human population centers, whether on land or at sea, are likely to have a difficult time managing this disease. If it turns out that the virus can be spread by people showing no symptoms, then until there is a vaccine folks will be hoping that warm summer weather limits or ends the spread. If not, go long magic potions. As to the ultimate death rate and possibilities of serious organ damage, etc. much is yet to be learned. Not everything is mitigated by lowering interest rates.
